Professional Statement

Mr Anwer Abdullakutty is a highly experienced, dually qualified surgeon in both dentistry and medicine, practicing in Derby. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

He successfully completed his specialist training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the prestigious Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead in 2016 and is on the General Medical Councils specialist list for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He has gained further experience in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery with a particular interest in Jaw deformity surgery and TM Joint surgery from St. Vincent’s hospital, Melbourne, Australia, and then post-training fellowship from Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham, UK.

Mr. Abdullakutty has a strong interest in publications and has presented at various national and international conferences as well as has original published papers. He has authored book chapters in major Oral and Maxillofacial surgery textbooks.

He has attended many charity workshops in India and Conducts teaching courses. He is part of the Virtual reality training in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery which takes place at Brighton medical school.
